2022 Year 4 Month 29 On the morning of Day, Mr. Wu Bo, Chairman of Anhui Weimai OME Science & Technology Co., Ltd., led a team to visit and exchange with the Hefei National Comprehensive Science Center Energy Research Institute. Vice President Hu Haomin and Director Kong Defeng of the Science and Technology Development Department of the Energy Research Institute extended a warm welcome to Chairman Wu Bo and his team.
Both sides held a symposium on the theme of "Hydrogen Energy + Civil Use." Mr. Zha Sheng, Deputy General Manager of Weimai Opto-Mechanical-Electrical, first introduced Weimai Opto-Mechanical-Electrical's core technologies and five major leading products: metal energy storage devices, pipeline compensators, metal sealing components, pressure sensitive components, and special valves. Subsequently, Chairman Wu Bo gave a detailed introduction to the development history and transformation direction of Weimai Opto-Mechanical-Electrical, analyzing the R&D needs and directions in the field of civilian hydrogen energy from a market-oriented perspective, and fully affirming the leading position of the Hefei National Comprehensive Science Center Energy Research Institute in hydrogen energy research.
Vice President Hu Haomin and Director Kong Defeng expressed their recognition of Weimai Opto-Mechanical-Electrical's past achievements. Director Kong Defeng stated: As the chairman unit of the Anhui Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Alliance, the Energy Research Institute has always been committed to the development of the hydrogen energy industry. The key to development, in addition to strengthening scientific and technological breakthroughs, deepening government-industry-academia-research cooperation, and breaking through a number of key core technologies, also lies in strengthening the attraction and cultivation of enterprises, accurately attracting target enterprises, cultivating and expanding existing industrial chain leading enterprises, and building a full industrial chain covering all aspects of hydrogen energy production, storage, transportation, refueling, and application. Weimai Opto-Mechanical-Electrical, through years of cultivation in aerospace, has core advantages in low temperature, high pressure, high temperature, and corrosion resistance, and will serve as a key component enterprise to make up for the shortcomings in the hydrogen energy storage, transportation, and refueling aspects of the alliance's industrial chain. Finally, Vice President Hu Haomin explained the main research directions of the institute, " developing clean energy and promoting military-civil integration ” as its purpose. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the planned technical research and application directions and reached a preliminary cooperation intention.
It is understood that the Hefei National Comprehensive Science Center Energy Research Institute was established in 2019 Year April, and is one of the three basic platforms of the national innovation system approved by China. It focuses on four major scientific research fields: information, energy, health, and environment, and conducts interdisciplinary and transformative technological research. It is jointly built by Anhui University of Science and Technology, the Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China, and Hefei University of Technology. The platform uses "decentralized sharing + joint construction and sharing " as its driving model, striving to build "three places and one library," and striving to provide scientific and technological support for national energy security, international energy technology development, and solving the ultimate problem of human energy.
