On the morning of April 29, 2022, Wu Bo, chairman of Anhui Weimai OME Technology Co., LTD., led a team visited the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center. Hu Haomin, vice President of Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center. Kong Defeng, Director of Science and Development Office, and others extended gave warm welcome to Chairman Wu Bo and entourages .Meeting started on the theme of "Hydrogen + Civil". Zha Sheng, deputy GM of Weimai OME, introduced the core technology of Weimai OME and five leading products including metal accumulator, pipeline compensator, metal sealing element, pressure sensitive element and special valve firstly. Then, chairman Wu Bo, gave a particular introduction of Weimai OME development history and transformation direction.Chairman Wu Bo also analyzed the r&d demand and direction of hydrogen energy for civil use with the orientation of the market, Chairman Wu Bo fully affirming the leading position of Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center in the field of hydrogen energy research.

Director Kong Defeng said: as the Chairman unit of Anhui Province Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Alliance, Institute of Energy has always been committed to the development of hydrogen energy industry, and in addition to strengthening is crucial for the development of science and technology research, to deepen political manufacture-learning-research cooperation, break through a number of key core technology, and strengthening attract, precise attract target enterprise, cultivate leading enterprises expand existing industry chain, To build a whole industrial chain covering hydrogen energy preparation, storage and transportation, charging and application, Weimai OME  has core advantages in low temperature, high pressure, high temperature and corrosion resistance through years of aerospace field, and will make up the short board in hydrogen energy storage and transportation, charging and other industrial chains in the alliance as a key component enterprise. In the end, Vice President Hu Haomin, explained the main research direction of the institute. With the purpose of "developing clean energy and promoting military-civilian integration", both sides had an in-depth exchange on the research, development and application direction of the proposed cooperation and reached a preliminary cooperation intention.

Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center is known to be established in April 2019. It is one of the three basic platforms of China national innovation system. It focuses on the four scientific research fields of information, energy, health and environment, and carries out interdisciplinary and transformative technology research. It is jointly built by Anhui University of Science&Technology, ASIPP（Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences）,Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China and Hefei University of Technology.
